Ifor Williams – Transporta

The Transporta is the newest trailer within the Ifor Williams car transporter range.

The perfect trailer for motor sport enthusiasts, small racing teams and classic car owners, the enclosed car transporter offers protection from the elements whilst transporting and storing high value vehicles. All models feature a durable galvanised steel chassis, with the tilt-bed model featuring a manual hydraulic tilting bed which accommodates most vehicles and for vehicles with low ground clearance an optional pair of ramp skid extenders are available.
The Transporta comes as standard with two large side openings which provide excellent access to the vehicle being transported. The customer has a choice of either side-hinged doors (like a barn door) or a top-hinged door. The latter doubles as an awning. Any combination of side-hinged or top-hinged doors on either side can be ordered.

In addition a further two hatches, forward of the side doors, give convenient access to the front of the trailer enabling wheels straps to be fitted and tightened on the vehicle which is being transported. An electric winch option is a popular accessory and this feature is further enhanced by having a sliding winch bracket permitting the winch to be conveniently aligned with the vehicle’s towing eye.
